I quit my steady job, moved out of my flat, got a couple of clients, and booked a one-way ticket to Kathmandu. I wanted to see the world and live my life on my own terms.
And since then, it’s grown into my little marketing baby. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a range of great clients (big and small!).
In 2023 I left my full time marketing job to follow my dreams of starting my own freelance business and travelling the world.
I started by getting a few clients and making websites for schools in Nepal in exchange for free accommodation.
I travelled Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka & India. Supported by my own business, I was officially a successful Digital Nomad - dreams do come true!
My business allowed me to see the world, learn new things, and discover what was important to me. All my business decisions were my own, meaning I could choose to make what I do meaningful.
It seemed I was attracting a lot of charities, career coaches, women-owned business and companies with values that aligned with mine. What's better than working with businesses you're genuiely passionate about helping? So, that's who I was going to target.
I came home to the UK, and had a crossroads moment. What next?
